About Danielle

Danielle is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists who supports youth and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, and family of origin concerns. Her work is grounded in emotion-focused and attachment-based approaches, helping clients better understand the patterns and experiences that shape their challenges. She integrates insight-oriented therapy, emotional processing, relationship exploration, and body-based techniques to support meaningful healing.

Before becoming a psychologist, Danielle spent eleven years in frontline child protection, supporting children and families through complex circumstances. This experience strengthened her commitment to helping youth heal and to equipping parents with greater understanding and practical tools. She completed her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University and has worked in inpatient psychiatric care, community mental health, and private practice.

Danielle is the owner of DC Psychological Services and the founder of Sister Sister, a community network focused on connection and empowerment. Based in Red Deer, she is passionate about helping teens and adults reconnect with their inner strength and build lives that feel authentic and fulfilling. Outside of her work, she enjoys travel, interior design, and spending time with friends and family.
